Lasted 12000+ km under heavy rider until new chain started to jump on 5-th chainring (we changed chains before they hit 0.5 extending mark).
Used with aluminium drivers (HOPE and DT Swiss hubs) – no problems.
15-18 step can be quite uncomfortable.
